Hey there,

You should be able to use a download manager for Windows, such as GetRight or Download Accelerator, to easily resume downloads that get stuck halfway through - I'm not currently seeing any time outs from downloads, but if you use this utility, you won't need to start again. It's not quite a solution to the time-outs, but it'll help!

[Incidentally, it'll work for all individual files and most ZIPs, but won't work for any 'ZIP on the fly' files which you'll find in some audio collections - this won't be a problem for Prelinger movies, though.]
